Goal:

To get our disciples and H2G members to understand what causes a curse and how to break it.

Icebreakers:

Encourage H2Group members to comment on what the word prosperity means to them.

Introduction:

1. Ask someone in your group to read Exodus 34:6-7.
2. Ask someone else to pray for their time together.

Questions to discuss:

1. Encourage your H2group members to comment on what might be causes of a curse.
Encourage your H2group members to comment on how a curse is placed on a person, home, or family. The 4 types of curses mentioned in the video.
3. Encourage your H2group members to comment on how we can break a curse when we feel or have discerned that it is the cause of no progress.

Closing activity:

Ask your H2O group members to ask God for wisdom for a moment to reveal the causes of the curses in their generations or in their own lives.

Closing prayer:

Father we give glory and honor to you Lord your word says that you came to undo all the works of the devil and today we take authority in your name to break every curse that was imposed on our lives because of covenants or words, because of every curse that was self imposed on our lives and because of every curse that was established by will. Today we ask Your forgiveness for the sins of our generations and we ask You to break that curse with Your power. By Your blood we are free, for we are Your property. In the name of Jesus. Amen
