Series: The Prayer
Subject: From Calls to Chosen Ones

Goal:

To get our disciples and H2Group members to understand the power of prayer as the chosen one.

Icebreakers:

Encourage H2Group members to comment on what is the difference between being called to be chosen.

Introduction:

1. Ask someone in your group to read Matthew 22:14 – Luke 6:12-13.
2. Ask someone else to pray for their time together.

Questions to discuss:

1. Encourage your H2group members to comment on what I need to be called and not just chosen. R/ Listen to the voice of God.
2. Encourage your H2group members to comment, when I hear God’s voice is when I am in prayer?
3. Encourage your H2group members to comment on what qualities I need to have in order to be chosen.

Closing activity:

Ask your H2O group members, for a moment meditate on their hearts, of so many people in the world, God is calling you to serve Him. Now, to be chosen you have to be in prayer listening to his voice.

Closing prayer:

Father we give glory and honor to you. Lord at this time teach us to listen to your voice, make our hearts capable of hearing your words and obeying them, so that we may not only be called but chosen. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen
