Goal:

To get our disciples and H2O members to understand that God is the one who wants to open the heavens over his children.

Icebreakers:

Encourage the members of the H2Group, to comment on what the word Open Heavens means to each of them.

Introduction:

1. Ask someone in your group to read 2 Corinthians 12:7-10.
2. Ask someone else to pray for their time together.

Questions to discuss:

1. Encourage your H2group members to comment, because God wants to open the heavens above us.
2. Encourage your H2group members to comment, which represents walking with Open Heavens.
3. Encourage your H2group members to comment, because God is asking us to stand on His word.

Closing Activity:

Ask your H2O group members to meditate on their hearts, where their lives are affirmed. Are they firm in their word? Or in the circumstances of this world. Take them to make a commitment to God and affirm their lives in the word.

Closing prayer:

Father we give glory and honor to you Lord. Because we know that you Lord are calling us to affirm our lives in your word, you are bringing us to a season where we will walk with Open Heavens and be greatly blessed by your hand. Today we make the decision again to walk in your word and to stand firm in it. In the name of Jesus. Amen
